Where they started.

  • A 6-year-old site from a page builder. It took almost 7 seconds to load on a phone.
  • The phone number sat at the bottom of the home page, not at the top.
  • No license number anywhere, which Nevada requires in all advertising.
  • Stock photos of a smiling plumber who never worked there.
  • No prices at all, so people called other companies to ask.
  • A contact form that sent to an old email nobody checked.

What we built.

  • The phone number and a “Book a technician” button at the top of every page
  • A page for each service: AC repair, heating, water heaters, drains and leaks
  • Flat prices for common jobs, dated, with the $89 diagnostic credited if they hire
  • After-hours terms written out: who answers, how fast, and what it costs
  • Their own photos: trucks, techs and 14 finished jobs
  • The license number in the header and footer, linked to the state lookup
  • Pages for the 6 towns they cover most

The finished site.

The Saguaro Air & Plumbing home page: the phone number and booking button at the top, a job photo, and the license number in the header.

Open the demo site and try it on your phone.

How the 12 days went.

  1. Day 1Call and facts. We wrote the scope, the price and the list of what we needed.
  2. Day 3Photos and prices came in. We wrote the design brief: colors from the trucks, the page order.
  3. Day 4The owner approved the brief.
  4. Day 9Private preview link. The owner and office manager walked it on their phones.
  5. Day 11Checks ran: speed, phones, accessibility and the Nevada wording. Two small fixes.
  6. Day 12The owner said go. The site went live.

90 days later.

What comes next.

  • A page for furnace tune-ups, since more people are searching for it
  • A monthly maintenance plan page, priced and dated
  • Keep asking every finished job for a review
