Privacy notice
Last updated November 1, 2026
This notice covers nxgtech.dev, run by NXG Technologies, LLC, Las Vegas, Nevada. It is written to meet Nevada’s website privacy law (NRS 603A.340).
What we collect
Visitors don’t need an account. We only get what you send us yourself:
- The request form on our contact page: your name, phone number, trade and what you need, plus anything optional you add (business name, email, current website, a message) and any referral code in your link.
- “Email me my results” on the Website Checkup: your email address and your answers to its questions, so we can send your score and fix list. If you don’t ask for the email, your answers stay in your browser.
- Creating an account or ordering in the client dashboard: your name, business name, email, phone and password (stored scrambled), and what you order: the site and plan, your trade, the towns you serve, your current website and any notes.
- Calls and emails: your name, number, email and what you tell us about your business.
To stop spam, the forms record a scrambled (hashed) version of the sender’s IP address for one day. We never keep the address itself.
Our host, Cloudflare, keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser and pages requested) for security and to keep the site running.
How we use it
- To answer you and prepare a quote. When you send the form, a push-notification service puts an alert with your name, trade and number on our phones, and our email provider sends us an email about it, so we can reply quickly.
- To email you your Website Checkup results, if you ask. We don’t add you to a mailing list.
- To do the work you hire us for.
We don’t sell your information, and we don’t share it except with services that help us run the business, such as our host, our email provider and the push-notification service that alerts our phones to new requests.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies for analytics or advertising. Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary security cookie to protect the site from attacks.
Tracking by other companies
No other company can collect information about your activity on this site and other sites over time through this site. We use no advertising, analytics or social media trackers.
Referrals
If a client refers you to us, we record your name, company and the contact details they give us (with your OK), and who referred you, so we can contact you and credit the referral. Referral codes in links (like /r/CODE) only show the code on our contact page; they don’t set cookies or track you. Referral records are kept in a private database only we can sign in to, and every change is logged.
Clients with a dashboard: we keep your sign-in email, your password in scrambled form (we can’t read it), when you last signed in, the devices you’ve signed in on, the general area (country and state) and internet provider each sign-in comes from, so we can spot a stolen session, and the edit requests you send. When you accept our terms at sign-up or when you order, we keep a record as proof of the agreement: the time, the name you typed, what you agreed to, your IP address and browser. If you turn on two-step sign-in, we keep your authenticator app’s key, locked with a separate secret. Signing in sets a cookie that keeps you signed in for up to 12 hours, and one that remembers your device for 30 days so we can tell you when a new device signs in. If you pick light or dark display, a cookie remembers that choice. None of these cookies are used for anything else. We also keep copies of the quote requests your own website sends us and a daily count of taps on its call button, only to show them to you and in your monthly report.
Payments
Clients pay by card through Stripe’s checkout page. Stripe handles the card details under its own privacy policy; we receive only the amount, the date and whether the payment went through, never the card number.
Information on our clients’ websites
If you send a quote request through a website we run for a contractor, that contractor decides how your information is used, and their own privacy notice applies. We handle it only for them, as their service provider. Our data processing terms explain how.
Keeping it safe and how long we keep it
Information travels encrypted, and only the people who need it can see it. Messages from our request form are kept as long as we need them to answer you and do any work you hire us for. Ask us any time to delete them. More on our security page.
Children
The site is for businesses and isn’t directed at children under 13. We don’t knowingly collect their information.
Your choices
You can ask us to show, correct or delete what we hold about you. Nevada residents may also ask us not to sell their information (NRS 603A.345); we don’t sell it, but we will confirm that in writing.
Send any of these requests to our designated request address, info@nxgtech.dev, or call (725) 270-8842. We answer within 60 days.
The terms for using this site and hiring us are in our terms and conditions, and the dashboard has its own client dashboard terms. Every legal page is listed on our legal page.
